Fatal accident leads to 2 deaths and multiple injuries

Two people died and multiple others suffered injuries in a recent car crash in Georgia. The fatal accident involving five cars took place on a Wednesday night. It has left multiple family members reeling in grief and dealing with the painful injuries caused by the tragic accident.

According to police, a car was going north along Georgia 92 and ran into the back of a pickup truck. The pickup was pushed into oncoming traffic and ended up hitting a car head-on. The car that was struck head-on came to a halt, but the pickup flipped and hit another pickup truck head-on.

At that time, the driver of the car that allegedly caused the accident kept going north and struck yet another car head-on. The driver of the car that reportedly caused the accident and the driver of the first car that was hit died in the collision. Meanwhile, a passenger in the first car, the driver of the first pickup and the driver of the second car that was hit head-on were injured and transported to a hospital.

The surviving family members of the deceased driver whose vehicle was struck may decide to file a wrongful death claim, seeking the reimbursement of damages sustained in the fatal accident. Likewise, the injured parties may opt to file personal injury claims with regard to this motor vehicle accident. Although the car driver who is said to have caused the accident died in the crash, this person's estate may be sued, and so may any other person with an ownership interest in the vehicle he or she was driving at the time of the Georgia car accident.
