I have practiced in the North Georgia Area since 1987. I began my career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Whitfield/Murray County District Attorney's Office. I was an Assistant District Attorney from 1987 to 1992. I joined the law of McDonald, Kinnamon & Thames in Dalton, Georgia in March of 1992 as an associate. I became a partner within two (2) years. In 1997, the firm became the McDonald, Thames & Ray law office. I remained with that firm until my partner retired at the end of December of 2021. I joined the law firm of McCamy, Phillips, Tuggle & Fordham, LLP in January of2022 in an Of Counsel position.
I have practiced in the areas of Domestic Relations and Criminal Defense since 1992. I also practice in Juvenile Court. In addition, I represent individuals who receive citations and are required to appear in the Municipal and Probate Courts.
