Fatal accident in Georgia leads to 2 teens' deaths

Two teenagers recently lost their lives following a vehicle crash in Georgia. The fatal accident took place on a Friday. It occurred at about 9 p.m.

According to Georgia State Patrol, the two teens were going north on a road in their vehicle. All of a sudden, the person driving the car lost control of it while trying to follow the road when making a turn. The automobile ended up spinning and then flipping several times.

The car came to a stop near the road. The two teens in the vehicle passed away as a result of the motor vehicle collision. The teens, both boys, were both 17 years old.

The loved ones of the teenage passenger in the vehicle may decide to file a wrongful death claim. Surviving loved ones following an accident will likely experience financial burdens such as burial costs. A successfully litigated claim may lead to monetary damages that can help them to cover such losses tied to the fatal accident; awarded financial damages may also help to address emotional distress as well as pain and suffering stemming from the tragic motor vehicle collision. Even though the teenage driver believed to have caused the accident passed away in the crash, his estate may be sued, and anyone who separately owned the vehicle he was driving -- or his parents, if applicable -- may additionally face litigation. A civil court will decide the claims for monetary damages if liability is established according to the state's wrongful death laws.
