One 25-year-old man dies in fatal accident in Georgia

Driving comes with some inherent risks when a motorist sits behind the wheel. There could be a malfunction in the vehicle which could cause a crash. Obstructions on the road, such as a fallen tree, may also cause an accident. However, most of the time, the cause of a car accident is other drivers on the road. This was the case in a recent fatal accident involving two vehicles in Georgia.

The incident occurred when a 25-year-old man was driving northbound in his 1987 Nissan Pathfinder. He was trying to make a left hand turn into a convenience store when his vehicle was hit by a 1996 Chevrolet pickup. The red Chevrolet was heading southbound when it crashed into the broadside of the Nissan.

Both vehicles ended up on the side of the street after the crash. The driver of the Chevrolet, a 66-year-old man, was treated for minor injuries. He did not require transportation to a local hospital and received treatment at the scene of the incident. The driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the accident scene at approximately 10:25 a.m.

Although nothing can reverse the tragedy that occurred in the fatal accident, the estate of the decedent may be able to file a wrongful death lawsuit if the family believes that the other driver may be at fault in the Georgia accident. However, the driver of the Chevrolet may also file a personal injury lawsuit against the estate of the decedent if he believes the decedent was the cause of the crash. No matter who files a complaint, it will be up to a court judge to determine who may be ultimately liable for damages caused by the crash.
