A man’s life was cut short as a result of a recent car crash in Georgia. The car accident involved two vehicles. It occurred on a Friday afternoon.

According to police, the accident occurred at the intersection of two roads at about 1:30 p.m. One of the vehicles involved in the collision was a Ford F-150. After the collision, the passenger and driver of the Ford were transported to the hospital.

Sadly, the passenger was pronounced dead at the hospital from his injuries. He was 74 years old. The number of people in the second vehicle and their conditions were not reported. County and state police continued to investigate the collision.

If the driver of the Ford is found to have caused the car accident, then the deceased passenger’s surviving loved ones have the right to file a wrongful death claim against this driver, pursuing claims for monetary damages. However, if the driver of the other vehicle is found to have caused the accident, then the wrongful death suit may be filed against this party instead. In addition, the injured Ford driver may choose to file a personal injury claim against the other driver in these circumstances. A damage award cannot undo the events leading to an injury or death resulting from a Georgia car accident, but it may help the plaintiffs to achieve some sense of justice and thus move forward from the tragedy. Liability must be established by appropriate proof of negligence before claims for financial damages will be determined.
