A deadly crash recently took place in Georgia, claiming the life of one man and injuring two others. One of the injured victims now faces charges in connection with this car accident. The accident occurred on a Sunday in mid-April at about 4 p.m.

Charges are currently pending against the SUV driver. Both the SUV driver and a passenger in his vehicle were transported to the hospital for treatment following the crash. According to authorities, the SUV driver was in serious condition.

The surviving family members of the man who died in the Georgia collision may decide to file a wrongful death claim against the SUV driver who reportedly caused the car accident. In addition, the injured SUV passenger may opt to file a personal injury claim against the SUV driver. The plaintiffs can pursue damages linked to the crash, which — if awarded — may help to cover hospital expenses, burial expenses and other accident-related losses. Although a monetary award cannot reverse the events leading to injuries in a crash or restore the life of a loved one who has died in a collision, it may help to address pain and suffering and emotional distress caused by the fatal collision. Liability has to be established in a manner that satisfies the civil court hearing the case before claims for financial damages will be determined.
